AbstractPara a investigação das interações das camadas limite oceânica e atmosférica na região da Confluência Brasil-Malvinas (CBM) foram tomadas observações simultâneas in-situ usando instrumentos como sondas XBTs e raiossondas atmosféricas, a bordo do N.Ap.Oc. Ary Rongel da Marinha Brasileira enquanto este cruzava a região da CBM em outubro de 2006. Neste trabalho sçao verificados os perfis verticais da temperatura potencial, umidade específica e o papel da estabilidade estática. Os resultados obtidos sugerem que a estabilidade estática modula o vento em superfície e as trocas turbulentas de momento, calor e massa. Ventos fortes (fracos) ocorrem sobre as águas quentes (frias) sobre a Corrente do Brasil (Malvinas). ABSTRACT: Simultaneous oceanic and atmospheric in situ observation were taken at the Brazil -Malvinas Confluence (BCM) region in order to investigate the air-sea interactions at that region. XBTs, and atmospheric radiosondes were used , on board of Brazilian Navy R/V N.Ap.Oc. Ary Rongel while this crossed the (BMC) area in October of 2006. In that work the vertical profiles of the potential temperature, specific humidity and the role of the static stability are verified. The obtained results show that the static stability modulate the wind in surface and theturbulent changes of momentum, heat and mass. Strong (weak) winds happen on the warm (cold) waters on the Current of Brazil (Malvinas).
