AbstractThis analysis discussesth e eflects of acoustic perturbations and chemical reactions on droplet combustion when the ambient tèrrperatue is larger than the adiabatic flame temperature. The acoustic field is simulated by sinusoidal perturbatioís. The chemical reaction occurs as a small rate, a consequenceo fthe condition ofthe ambient temperature being larger than the ãdiabatic flame temperature. The results show úat the vaporization rate increases due to the presence of úe acousúc field and increases with increasing Damkôhler number.
