AbstractO objectivo deste trabalho é utilizar o modelo CATT-BRAMS oupled Aerosol and Tracers Transport model to the Brazilian Regional Atmospheric Modeling System) para estudar o transporte atmosférico de gases e partículas inertes emitidos por queimadas que ocorreram durante a onda de calor que afectou Portugal Continental no verão de 2003. ABSTRACT: This study presents numeric simulation using the on-line 3-D transport model CATTBRAMS (Coupled Aerosol and Tracer Transport to the Brazilian developments on the Regional Atmospheric Modeling System) the atmospheric transport of pollutants emitted by biomass burning during the occurrence of heat wave that affected Continental Portugal in summer of 2003..
