| Abstract | ALIO, the Association of Latin-Ibero-American Operations Research Societies, was created in Rio de Janeiro in 1982, with the purpose of promoting the exchange of experiences and information among researchers, academicians and practitioners working on Operations Research in the region, and foment the use of techniques and methodologies related to this discipline. The main goals include to contribute, establish, and deepen ties between researchers and practitioners of countries within ALIO, and to help young undergraduate and graduate students in their professional development. |
