AbstractA modulação GMSK (Do inglês, Gaussian Minimum-Shift Keying) não-coerente é uma técnica indicada para aplicação em nanossatélites devido às suas características de bom desempenho e baixa complexidade. Este trabalho apresenta uma arquitetura de modem GMSK não-coerente de alta velocidade completamente digital. Neste trabalho, detalhase tanto o projeto do modulador como também do demodulador. Através de simulação computacional, o desempenho do sistema é analisado em termos da taxa de erro de bits e comparado com a solução clássica, funcionalmente similar, encontrada na literatura. O modem proposto apresenta um ganho de 4,5 dB quando compara ao modelo clássico. ABSTRACT: Non-coherent Gaussian Minimum Shift Keying (GMSK) is an indicated technique for application in nanosatellite due to its characteristics of good performance and low complexity. This work presents a fully digital high-speed non-coherent GMSK modem architecture. In this work, both the modulator design and the demodulator are detailed. Through computer simulation, system performance is analyzed in terms of bit error rate and compared to the classic solution, functionally similar, found in the literature. The proposed modem presents a gain of 4.5 dB when compared to the classic model.
